First and Last Love
On March 11th 2011, a great tragedy hit Japan; an earthquake erupted underwater and triggered a massive tsunami, which was over 37 meters, which shocked the world and Japan. On March 12th a Japanese National Police Agency report confirmed 15,854 deaths, 26,992 injured and 3,155 people missing. Then a month later across the ocean on April 14th – 16th in America, there was one of the worst tornado outbreaks in U.S history, but then less than 2 weeks later, that was surpassed by another tornado outbreak on the 25th – 28th which shocked America.  But now the story continues in Sweden, Stockholm where a young girl, called Lola, lays under an underpass cold and alone, she may seem dangerous and dirty, but she has been on the streets since she was 5 and she is now 19. Lola as no family and no friends, she has tried her hardest not to get caught and forced in to prostitution or trafficking, which she has come close to many a time, but luckily enough she hasn't. Then one day, she met a nice boy from the UK, who looked about the same age as she did, the boy had long brown/auburn hair, he was an average build and was not too tall and not to short, about 5 ft. 9 but she figured that they were about the same height. Lola also liked the way this guy dressed, he wore a grey hoodie which had bite marks on the of his sleeves, black chinos and navy blue plimsolls and a black t-shirt with a design of a female porcelain figure on it, which looked like Harley Quinn from Batman and he also had a backpack. Lola had seen this guy in three straight days and figured he was on holiday because she had never seen him before, and only because the town was in the direction of where she stayed. It was the fourth day and the British guy never turned up in the morning or at lunch time, so she didn't move all day, just so she could see him again, which she did.
When Steven was coming round the corner, he saw the young girl, whom he saw 3 days in a row again and the reason why he didn't show up earlier was because he was trying to find courage to go and speak to her later that night, it took him a while but he managed to convince himself that it was the right move to do. When he got closer to the girl, he looked at what she was wearing; she had a black pair of skinny jeans on, which had rips across the thighs, she was also wearing black plimsolls, a black hoodie and she wore other the hoodie a grey military jacket. As Steve looked at her face he noticed that she was amazingly pretty, she had bright red lips, and the cutest of rosy cheeks he had ever seen, and she also had long brown hair, but what really made her unique was the two large tattoos of stars on her right side of her neck, for Steven after he looked at her he knew that she was his ideal girl, but the downside was that he was only on holiday and the twist of it was that he wasn't expecting his ideal girl to be living on the streets. Steve finally spoke her, and they both got on well with each other, and sat and spoke for hours but most of the time they were together it was hard to communicate because she didn't speak English that well, so Steve got the most dull idea ever and started writing on a note pad which did work eventually. As they talked Lola got to know his name which was 'Steven James' he is 21 and from Wales in the United Kingdom, then after they stopped talking, Steven had to leave Lola so he can get some sleep because, himself and Lola have planned his last two days together in Stockholm, so they can spend more time with one and other, but what they didn't know was that something that will shock the country will happen on his last day there. Steven was asleep, in the hotel room on his very own double bed, as he was laying there the room and building was starting to shake and Steven was still fast asleep, but something that will wake up would be a loud crash outside of the hotel, and as soon as he heard the loud noise and massive after shock shaking the hotel still, he jumped out of bed in a panic and said to himself "what on earth was that, was it an earthquake?  I thought quakes never happen in Sweden." The first thing Steven done was check the news and it turned out to be Sweden's worst ever earthquake, but that did not worry him, the one thing that did worry him was that Stockholm airport was shut down for two weeks, because of serious damages to the site and it's too dangerous at the moment for airplanes to land or stay, so he is stuck in Sweden for now. While Steven is still thinking about what he's going to do about getting back home, he had decided to go see if Lola is ok, so he then got ready and left his hotel room. As Steven made his way to the underpass, he was noticing a lot of damages to buildings and cracks in the walls and floors, it looked serious and from the scenes he just walked through Steven is desperately hoping that nothing bad has happened to Lola, or the bridge that Lola sleeps under. As the aftershocks slowly wore off, Steve got to Lola's secret spot in the underpass, but she wasn't there, then he started to panic, he was looking around the area to see if he could find her, at that time he was desperate to find her, because even though they hardly know each other, he is so sure to find her, because his feelings are growing stronger for her. A girl screams nearby and Steve turns to investigate, he notices a building with a collapsed roof and popping out of the rubble was a young woman's hand, he rushed over to pull the body out from under the rubble, and he then sighed from relief, only because it wasn't Lola's body that he found, but a tear still fell from his eye, because of what happened to this poor young girls life. Moments later Steve turned his head around and saw Lola kneeling on the floor with her hands holding her face as she cry's, Steven picks her up of the floor and asks her "Would you like to stay with me in the hotel for a few days?" Lola was in shock; she had never been in a hotel before and not even spent a night with anyone before, let alone a few days with someone, but she did say yes, Lola's heart beat so fast, she felt like it was going to explode. Steve then took her out for a Chinese dinner on the second night, they spent together and Lola loved the sweet and sour chicken, which Steven loved to, that put a smile on his face. After the meal they rented out a film, it was a new crime/thriller that had just been released, on the same night, after the film had finished they put their arms around each other and cuddled for half an hour, Steve then kissed her on the forehead and said "I am so glad we met, so much has happened in such a short time, I will be so sad when it's time for me to leave you and this place." Lola looked at him and nodded, as there gaze lasted for a minute, their lips touched, and then their hands caressed each other, then they went to the bedroom, Lola slowly removed her clothes, starting from her jeans, to her jacket and top, and then left her underwear on, while Steve was laying on the bed admiring her amazing and perfect physique, "Lola you look amazing, you are so pretty" she blushed and got into bed and cuddled with Steve, then they covered themselves with the quilt.
Four weeks later and Steven is still stuck in Stockholm, and everything seems to be on the up, the airport had just reopened, and even all the mess from the earthquake had gone. Lola has been with Steve since the night they first kissed and now most importantly is that they are now a couple, even though he has to leave to go back home to the UK, but truthfully he wants to stay in Stockholm and not leave her behind alone. As Steven Left Lola behind in the entrance of the airport and eventually got through security, he then realised that he is alone for good, which he really does not like, then an hour later he was then sitting waiting to board the plane. Steven was sitting silent, thinking about the days that have passed and how much fun he has had with Lola, he wondered if he was doing the right thing, by leaving her there, a tear fell from his eye again, which led him to the conclusion that he cannot leave her behind, so he got up from his seat and went to get her back, but all of a sudden the whole airport started to shake and the ground did to. The windows of the airport started crack and slowly decay, the beams holding the roof started to fall and then the women and children started to scream and shout, Steven didn't know what to do, he froze from shock and fear, but in all the panic he saw a young child, in the distance who looked about five years old, she was standing next to an older woman who was laying on the ground, then he figured out that it was her mother, but she wasn't moving from that spot she was laying in, so he went over to speak to the girl, to see if she's ok and so he could take her to security, but after their little conversation, the whole place went quiet, which isn't always a good sign, but then a loud noise started to appear from outside, it got louder and louder the closer it got, then everyone saw it, it was a giant shadow, of a plane and it was about the crash into the building, so Steve picked up the young girl and started to run towards the exit, as he picked her up she screamed "Muuuum!!"  And as he just started to run, the sound of the plane crashed through the windows and the sound of it was ear shattering. The plane started to speed up; it ended up about two feet away from Steve and the young girl, and as the plane was about the hit them, Steven dived through the doubled doors which was attached to a reinforced concrete wall, which went on to stop the plane from getting through and also hitting them. Steven sat on the floor to take a deep breath and asked if the young girl was ok, which she was, she only had a few cuts and bruises, Steve also asked if she would like to come with him to find his girlfriend and then he would take her to a safe place after, so she said yes and they then left the airport to go and find her.
Steven and the young girl were walking through the streets of Sigtuna Municipality, where Stockholm Arlanda Airport is based, which is near the town Märsta, in the province of upland. As they were walking through the wreckage of the airport and the town centre, then the girl spoke "By the way, my name is Cecilia" Steven smiled and told her his name and then they both carried on walking, until they got the underpass where Steve first met Lola. 10 minutes since Steve and Cecilia have been waiting and there is still no sign of Lola, until she turned up with dirt, blood and ashes all over her, so as soon as Steve saw her, he ran straight over "Oh my god, are you ok?" she replied "Your alive how? But I am fine thanks; I was just helping out around the corner." Steven grabbed Lola, and gave her a big hug "Of course I am alive, you saved me, If I didn't miss you, I wouldn't of come back to stay with you, so thank you" they both smiled, so they all sat down and he told Lola all that happened at the airport and why Cecilia is with him. As they finished explaining everything to each other, another aftershock erupted, but the first one was only small, but in the space of 12 minutes there were 15 more, and with each one got stronger and longer, then after the last one struck, it went silent once again, and in the distance, there was a voice shouting "jättevåg" which in English meant giant wave, then Steven and Lola looked at each other with a puzzled look on their faces, then while everything was quiet Cecilia started crying, because the silence was bringing back the memories of what she went through at the airport. Just seconds after the panicked woman was scream "jättevåg" a really loud emergency siren was sounded, which you could hear all over the city, then they both new something horrible was going to happen, then all of a sudden the electricity stopped, cars came to a halt and large groups of people started running in the streets towards Steven and Lola, they were trying to get some people's attention, on what's happening, but no one is listening, all except a 65 year old and his wife, they said "Run!! It's a Tsunami, come with us, we know a safe and high place to get to, and you need to make sure that young girl is safe" They both didn't know what to do, they didn't trust the couple, but they did think it was best to keep Cecilia safe and they didn't have much time to decide, when Steven and Lola agreed, they saw the horror that was coming towards them, it was like a large white fog, speeding into town, there were people disappearing in front of their eyes, cars being dragged along and then there was the pitch black water. Lola picked up Cecilia and followed Steve and the couple to this six story building, which had a ladder on the side of it leading up to the roof, the couple went up first, then followed Cecilia, but with the wave coming at speed Steven didn't have enough time to get up, he grabbed Lola, gave her his back pack and told her "I love you" and kissed her, he then pushed her up to the ladder, then as she turned around she saw Steve get forced away by the speed and power of the tsunami. Lola Froze, she could not believe what she had just witnessed with her own eyes, her First and Last love had gone, she would never know if he would survive or see him again and there was nothing she could have done to help. The older couple went over to comfort Lola "We are sorry about your boyfriend, we hope he will still be alive" They then put their hands on her shoulder, to turn her away from the water below, she was then quiet for about a minute or two, until she randomly stood up and said "His life is not over yet" then she puts her hand on her stomach and smiles.
